Martin Metzger

Martin Metzger has been playing and teaching guitar for the last 25 years. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Jazz performance from Depaul University in 1994. Since then, he has performed in many ensembles, most recently recording with The Grace Chicago Consort, and his own group, Wood To Water. He enjoys traveling and studying different styles of music, from Jazz to Flamenco, Rock and Blues to Classical and Brazilian music. In addition, he enjoys composing music, and creating balance in life through the practices of yoga and meditation. His focus in teaching is to share his talents in a way that is both inspirational and joyous.
